Digi Gate Integration

Storable Easy

Follow the steps below to integrate your Digi Gate software with Storable Easy.

1. Log in to Storable Easy and install the Gate Sync Program.

2. When setting up your Gate Sync Program, make sure to put your facility code in. The facility code can be found at the bottom of your "Gate" page in the Storable Easy software, SETUP>Gate. In the Post Download Action setting in the ESS Gate Sync Program, browse to the digi folder, select the digisend.exe icon, and hit Save. This should put the digisend.exe verbiage into the post-download action setting.

3. Set up the Digi software to read the gate file that the Storable Easy creates:

a. Open up the DigiGate Program.
b. Select setup.
c. Select SysCon Setup Tab.
d. Select Accounting Button.
e. Select SAGE from the drop-down list.
f. Select "Link File" tab (next to Accounting Company tab)
g. Change "file name" to toread.fil
h. Select OK and Yes to save changes.
i. Exit and restart the DigiGate program for the changes to take effect. Digigate should remain open for communication to work properly.
j. Once the new file has been downloaded into this "C:digi" folder, DigiGate should read the file and update the gate system accordingly. DigiGate should change LINK.fil file to a LINK.old file once it has been updated.

MULTIPLE GATE CODES PER UNIT:
We cannot assign 2 codes to a single unit. To allow 2 or more codes, dummy units must be created in Storable Easy software and assigned the extra codes. When renting, you can assign a 100% discount on the dummy account to ensure this does not cause billing issues.

OTHER NOTES and TROUBLESHOOTING:

1. Your computer may need to be on the Microsoft .net 4.5 framework if you are having problems with your ESS gate sync software

2. Communication from other outside software programs(previous management systems) needs to be halted in order for the ESS gate sync post download action to work.

3. If you are having a problem installing the Gate Sync program, make sure you are logged in to your computer using an admin account that is secured with a password.

TABLE IS FULL ERROR
Usually, if you get a "Table is Full" error in Digiwin, the transaction log is either corrupt or it is too large to process.

Use the following procedure to delete the log:1. Close Digigate and navigate to C/Program Files/Digigate.
2. Open Dataview.exe (the login is digi, and the password is 1989).
3 Select the Open Database button and navigate to the Transaction.db file, select it, and select Open.
4. Select the Delete All Button and then select the Close Database button.

Note: There may be another transaction log with an underscore. If so, delete it with the same procedure. These logs are not the activity log, but just records of accounting software interfaces with Digigate, so no important info will be lost. In rare cases, the Logbase.db file can grow too large and cause the same error. However, deleting it will erase your activity log, so always try the transaction first.db first.
