Allowing customers to rent units directly from your website is a great way to grow your business. Follow these steps to turn on online move-ins.
Before You Begin: Check Your Payments
To see the "Rent Unit" button on your website, you must have a credit card processing company connected to your account. If you haven't set up credit card processing yet, the button will stay hidden even after you follow the steps below.
1. Click on the Website tab in your software, then select Pages.
2. Find the page usually named "Rent Storage" (it might also say something like "Rent Storage Units in [Your City]"). Click the Edit button next to it.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Current Widgets section. Click Edit under Available unit types.
4. You will see a list of checkboxes. Check the boxes for the actions you want customers to be able to perform on your site (e.g., "Rent" or "Reserve").
5. Click Update Widget to save your changes.
