Davinci Locks

Storable Easy

DaVinci Locks are disc locks that are connected to your DaVinci Lock account. Editing, changing, and entering the DaVinci Lock codes is done in your DaVinci Lock account. Once integrated with your Storable Easy software, you'll see the lock codes for each unit lock on the Unit Details page in Storable Easy.

Integration with Storable Easy

Integration with Storable Easy is done through your DaVinci Lock account. You'll need your Storable Easy facility API Key. This API key can be found in Easy from Setup > Gate when a third-party gate system is selected for integration or by contacting the Easy Support Team. This API Key will be entered into the DaVinci interface according to their instructions.

Tenant communication

The placeholder [[DAVINCI_LOCK_CODE]], can be used in the Easy Rental Instructions template.

The Rental Instructions template is the only template in which the placeholder can be used. This placeholder will only work for available units that have a lock connected via the DaVinci Interface.

Easy software does not send out the lockout removal code after a payment is made. For instructions on how the lockout removal works, contact DaVinci.

Customer Access status and Lock Code

You can view Customer Access (lock out status) and the lock code from the Unit page that can be accessed from the List View or the Grid View.

You can also see Access status and Lock Code in the Rentals section of the Customer Account page.

Troubleshooting

Follow the steps below if you are experiencing issues with the DaVinci integration.

  1. Confirm that you have the correct API key and that the service is enabled and ready to accept data on the Easy side of the system. Your API key can be obtained by calling Easy support or emailing our support department. We can also verify that DaVinci is enabled.

  2. Confirm that the setup has been done correctly on the DaVinci end of the system. Information flows from DaVinci into Easy. If the setup is not done correctly, the data doesn't send to Easy properly.

  3. Have you added or removed units to your Easy software? If so, you may need to contact DaVinci Support and make sure those units were added to the integration on their end as well.

  4. Has it ever worked properly? If so, which specific tenants, units, or codes are not syncing over to Easy? If it is a specific user, we need their information to investigate the customer profile for errors that may prevent the profile from syncing.
